Koch Agronomic Services, LLC is looking for a Technical Agronomist to join a growing enhanced efficiency fertilizer research and development team. The Technical Agronomist will work with and support 4-5 strategic account managers in a region of the US to be determined, based on the comparative advantages of the Agronomy Team and the needs of the organization. The primary focus is to deliver technical product information and training to customers, consultants and farmers. Secondary emphasis is to manage a regional portfolio of projects within a broader third-party field research program, to help the business evaluate existing products and new technologies. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to manage customer relationships in the context of ag retail & distribution, attention to detail, the ability to prioritize based on value creation potential, experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint & Excel) and be able to present technical concepts to audiences with a diverse range of agronomic knowledge.
This is a work from home position with flexible geography, depending on cropping system expertise and comparative advantage. Should be located near an airport and willing to travel.
Primary markets are the Eastern Corn Belt, Western Corn Belt, Northern Plains, Midwest, Mid-South/Delta.

M.S. or Ph.D. in Agronomy or closely related area
Certified Crop Advisor or Certified Professional Agronomist
Experience with soil fertility and fertilizer products
Physical Requirements/Other Considerations:
Ability to sit, stand, or kneel as needed
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
