Main Objective:

This position will operate within the Lab Services & Exhibits operations to ensure manageability of the operations planning with the lab and exhibits department. This role must possess a high level of analytical ability to distinguish multiple components of a problem and develop conclusions using qualitative and quantitative skills. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working in small teams on projects, effective communication to teams and other leaders, reviewing and understanding sales/financial data and identifying usage trends in the business line.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Act as business unit expert for SAP and all other systems that are used within Lab Services Department.

  • Responsible for training employees within Lab Services on SAP and other software as needed.

  • Prepare and maintain process maps and documentation for the Lab Services Department.

  • Work closely with finance team to ensure capital purchases are properly accounted for as assets and recorded within proper locations. Gathering required raw data for forecasting and planning.

  • Act as a liaison between lab team and finance for preparation of annual plan on quarterly forecast.

  • Ensure that the lab facility represents Arthrex as the leader in the industry.

  • Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the Arthrex product line.

  • Maintain inventory of products and associated lab and exhibit items.  Track usage and forecasts and orders as needed to support corporate schedule

  • Supply and demand operations planning and forecasting to allow the business to better understand the need for offsite lab equipment.

  • Participate with the preparation and analysis of month and year-end by reviewing actual vs. budget/forecast variances

  • Prepare and publish monthly and quarterly reporting metrics supporting the business lines

  • Promptly and accurately respond to ad hoc reporting requests of our internal partners

  • Assist with day to day logistical activities required to ensure that sets are configured properly in SAP and available to meet the demands of the lab and exhibit department.

  • Gather required raw data for forecasting, planning and logistical management

  • Required to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of the time.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Supply Chain required.

1 year related experience working in Operations Analyst capacity preferred.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC proficient, ability to use different database applications, strong MS office skills, especially Excel.
