Position Summary

Provide level 2 & 3 support for clients and regional Field Technicians troubleshooting, analyzing and resolving system problems, including but not limited to configuration, remote installation, maintenance and repair of a variety of hardware and operating systems on servers, workstations, network switches, routers, firewalls and VPN gateways. 

Key Duties / Responsibilities

  • Research and respond to client system requests

  • Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve client system problems

  • Consult with sales, users, and business partners to determine hardware, software and functional system requirements and solutions

  • Effectively communicate status and manage personal work queue

  • Meet all attendance requirements

Education & Knowledge Required

  • College or Associates degree and 5 years relevant experience in computer hardware, operating systems, and networks

Experience / Skills / Abilities Required

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, including the ability to accurately diagnose system problems, determine options for resolving the problem, and implementing the solution

  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills for working effectively with clients through the problem solving process

  • Demonstrated knowledge of current system hardware, operating systems, components, network security and techniques
