MANAGER OF ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
MEDICAL CITY LEWISVILLE
Directs and oversees operational needs of the Environmental Services Department. Coordinates tasks of the supervisory staff. Assures that staff is trained in accordance with JCAHO guidelines. Schedules staff to meet the needs of the facility doing so in line with budgetary constraints. In the absence of the Assistant Director of Environmental Services acts as the administrative liaison between the Director and key client contacts and the department.

College degree preferred
Minimum 3 years supervisory experience preferably in a healthcare environment.
Working knowledge of all housekeeping procedures and laundry management.
Strong work ethic, intense drive and initiative for quality and customer service.
Excellent written and oral communication, listening and empathy, and problem solving (one-on-one and group) skills.

Computer and keyboarding skills requirement
Demonstrated ability to utilize a participative approach to managing staff, to function appropriately under stress, to organize and prioritize tasks, and to develop budgets with a complete understanding of facility needs and requirements.
Excellent stress management skills, administrative and organizational, and follow-through (with associates and clients) skills required.
