As the Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP), you will provide a balance of consulting and strategic direction by partnering with leadership to develop, implement, evaluate, and execute HR programs for North American locations (US and Canada). You will create partnerships across all Human Resource functions to guide and improve processes to support leadership, staff, and the HR team to achieve organizational success. The HRBP will work as a member of the Corporate Human Resources Team and will report to the Director, Human Resources PSG/US Benefits and Compliance.

What will be your impact?

  • Initiate meeting with your leadership teams to outline our HR goals, identify opportunities to improve processes, and provide recommendations to improve employee morale and performance.

  • Provide consulting level partnership to leadership, resolving employee relations, to include promotions, transfers, demotions, coaching, terminations, and conflict resolution.

  • Advise employees, supervisors or management regarding confidential or private personnel issues or interpersonal problems; administer disciplinary procedures as needed.

  • Supporting your businesses to reach their targets and establishing business ROI, as it relates to Management, Employee Engagement/Relations, Workforce Planning, Forecasting, Talent Management, Etc.

  • Lead the HR Merger and Acquisition (M&A) process and provide HR consulting of best practices along with tactical due diligence

  • Develop and conduct internal training sessions that promote employee/ management development, including performance reviews, talent reviews, safety and wellness.

  • Maintain, and approve requests in Workday (HRIS)

  • Maintain employee files and other HR files/documentation to ensure all required documentation has been completed for all employees.

What are we looking for?

  • A combination of 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in an HRBP role supporting a US and Canadian employee base, plus a Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or other related business majors OR 9+ years equivalent work experience.

  • Experience in human resources management, including employee evaluations, engagement, performance, workforce planning HR related business components, and conflict resolution

  • Experience aligning HR best practices with business goals through organization development and strategic direction.

  • Experience examining and analyzing internal processes to identify opportunities for improvement

  • Experience to build strong relationships within all levels of an organization

  • Ability to balance both operational and strategic responsibilities
