Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an Installation/Service Agent.  If you have a love of meeting people and providing great customer service coupled with an interest in contributing directly to the bottom line of a multi-billion-dollar organization, this is the position for you!


As Lead Installation/Service Agent, you will:

  • Install appliances including hooking up washing machines and dryers to manufacturer's specifications

  • Service Agent will be responsible for attending installation training seminars and keeping up-to-date on all product changes - Service Agent will maintain product knowledge on Subzero, Thermador, Asko, Bosch, Miele, Whirlpool, Kitchen Aid, Jennair, Gaggenau, Maytag, Dacor, Viking, Marvel, Uline, Venmar, Scotsman and Fivestar

  • Work with customer to satisfy needs and concerns - This may include quoting and selling customers product

  • Assist with other work in coordination with repair and maintenance teams.

  • May also be responsible for providing expert technical support to customers and the sales team in a given discipline(s) including: systems installations, repairs, preventative maintenance and pro-active follow-up.

  • Properly install product per specifications.

  • Key locks and do take-off when necessary

  • Additional duties as required


Prior experience in installation and service within our industry is preferred.  A successful Installer/Service Agent will possess the following:

  • Familiarity with our products

  • Good communication skills

  • Problem solving and listening skills

  • Organizational and time management skills

  • The ability to deal with a vast array of customers with varying levels of product knowledge

  • Ability to lift 90+ pound objects frequently and 50+ pound objects occasionally


  • Travel is required, up to 80% of the time
