As the Market Research Program Manager with E. & J. Gallo winery, you will manage the design/execution and day to day management of ongoing major marketing research platforms to support data-driven insights which influence planning and decision making for the All One Marketing and sales groups. You will be theprimary owner for our Voice tracking program. Additionally, you will lead department data collection and vendor management efforts, as well as designing or assisting in design of market research projects and executes research strategies for those projects. You will design and oversee development of department reporting tools, such as scorecards and dashboards and provide analytical support of Voice Tracking program and market research projects.
What You Will Do-
Leads, monitors, directs and coordinates activities of vendor and project personnel to ensure research platforms progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget/financial constraints
Proactively monitors to identify, define, analyze, and resolve problems and issues. Proactively conducts quality assurance of research data
Leads program management support for established foundational C&PI market research projects to include standard to complex questionnaire development, field, vendor management, reporting tools, and archiving
Translates business questions to study design or analysis plans. Identifies the appropriate data source and analytical solution for simple to moderately complex questions
Conducts statistical analysis (cross-tabs, chi-squared, significance testing, correlation) of survey data. Performs multivariate analysis – regression, and perceptual maps as assigned
Develops, updates and maintains sampling plans for C&PI market research projects and assesses use of quota vs. sampling frames and evaluates potential for response bias
Provides guidance to junior staff within Foundation/Operations group on study design, fielding and data analysis as needed
Manages survey research for non-C&PI departments within Gallo. Programs online surveys and related stimulus for internal Gallo research and ensures online survey meets project specifications
What You Need-
High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of consumer services, marketing research, or data analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Master’s degree plus 3 years of consumer services, marketing research, or data analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
Computer skills include: Intermediate MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
Knowledge of statistical concepts and experience using Statistical Analysis Software (R, SAS, SPSS).
What Will Set You Apart-
Bachelor's degree in Statistics or Marketing Research plus 8 years of consumer services, market research, or data analysis experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; Master’s degree in related field plus 5 years of market research experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility
Experience with complex brand tracking programs
Intermediate proficiency with Statistical Analysis Software (R, SAS, SPSS)
Moderate proficiency in R programming
