Here's some of the fun activities you'll be doing:

  • Develops and maintains technical information for one or more audiences.  Advocates new tools/methodologies to improve customer satisfaction.  Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate up to management and across to teams. May deliver technical presentations to R&D, and other teams

  • Analyzes basic customer information requirements and product specifications to write technical content supporting HPE products and solutions. 

  • Develops written and/or visual product-related information (e.g., user/configuration/troubleshooting guides), and online information (interactive demos, help systems) for projects of limited scope or size. 

  • Generally works in support of creating content for a single product or solution.

  • May provide feedback on customer ease of use of a product in development. 

  • Acts as a customer advocate

  • May support multiple product segments (i.e. compute, storage, software, etc.)

  • May assist in coding, building, compiling and testing of online information and/or assists in the set-up, loading and testing to create information. 

Education and Experience Required

  • Pursuing a Bachelors University degree in Technical Communications, Computer Science, or related technical/communications field; desired minor in technical field or equivalent experience in a technical function.

  • 0 – 2 years’ experience or equivalent.  

  • Knowledge of and ability to use a variety of content development tools, i.e., MicroSoft suite of products; XML is a plus.

  • MUST HAVE Experience making presentations, both written and oral, to key stakeholders.

  • MUST HAVE Experience writing technology-based and/or scientific content.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Ability to understand HPE technology and relate it to the end user.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.

  • Articulate advanced technical information to influence business outcomes.
