Job Summary:
Responsible for leading strategic and financial planning to support the Business Unit’s objectives. This person will be a senior member of the finance team supporting the Technology & Product organization (T&P). T&P is the Cable HQ organization responsible for developing and operating the Company’s products, software and national network. It is comprised of more than 5,000 employees and $3B+ of annual spend. Primary role is to partner with technology leadership team and provide reporting, analytical support and insights into the business and support transformation (ie. show back models for cloud, facilities, etc.).

Core Responsibilities:
- Provides budget, forecast, and variance analysis and related reports as needed.
- Conducts financial research, analyzes financial performance against objectives, and determines emerging financial trends.
- Provides rationale behind reports and analysis and relays them in simple terms.
- Creates and maintains statistical/financial databases and reports. Runs appropriate weekly, monthly, and annual reports.
- Interacts as team member and sets the pace for the Financial Analysts team. Interfaces with other department member on special projects or on an as-needed basis.
- Performs additional Business Operations duties and tasks as required.
- Approves transactions, evaluates opportunities, and participates in business case creation and recommendations on actions to be taken to optimize future business opportunities.
- Analyzes and tracks key financial metrics and operational procedures to foster process improvements.
- Performs analysis of financial statement accounts and specific projects, as directed.
- Assists with the preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports.
- Participates with the preparation of month and year-end processes by reviewing actual vs. budget/forecast variances, reviewing financial trends, and making recommendations for accruals.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in Finance, Accounting
- Generally requires 2-5 years related experience
- Proficient in managing large data sets in MS Excel
- Proficient in creating PowerPoint presentations
- Database experience in Tableau or Access is strongly preferred
- Previous experience in Hyperion/ Essbase, SAP, Salesforce, or Workforce is strongly preferred
