Primary Objective of Position:
Drive the development and delivery of Flow training programs and curriculums which expand the knowledge and expertise of Sales, Service and Customer personnel. Maintain optimal content format and delivery platforms to meet the needs of a dynamically changing Flow and Customer workforce.
Interface closely with program owners in marketing, subject matter experts (SMEs) and third-party vendors. Key activities will include uncovering training needs, leading the development of curriculum and learning objectives, securing funding (as needed), developing course design outlines, writing detailed storylines, and developing the final course content. Use expertise to select the best instructional design format and adult learning methods to maximize training effectiveness.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Develop training content for Flow customers, business partners and employee (Sales and Service) training programs.
Work with and coach global subject matter experts to develop new courses and content
Create, develop and manage graphic content used in all training courses
Manage the creation of scripts and narration for all training courses and ensure translation capabilities
Edit, synchronize and manage audio files used in Flow training courses
Create, develop and revise training content using rapid development tools: Camtasia, Captivate, Storyline and Adobe Presenter
Manage Flow’s Global Learning Center
Maintain high-quality functionality and presentation of all online training curriculums
Publish, test and troubleshoot training to ensure valuable and efficient global user experiences
Create Learning Plans and coordinate maintenance of all Flow global learning pages on the GLC
Work with world area LMS administrators to resolve any technical or performance issues with training courses
Ensure Instructor Led Training is posted to LMS and tracking/reporting of attendance/completions is captured globally
Manage external Learning Management System for customers
Ensure all customer-facing training is posted and available on MyConnect LMS
Assist with marketing all programs on MyConnect LMS in cooperation with Educational Services
Coordinate and support usage of Qstream training tools globally
Coordinate and manage content libraries for training on secured, shared repositories
Assist in the development and administration of processes to ensure periodic review and updates for all training courses
Coordinate workloads and responsibilities with training personnel in Manila
Project manage the course development lifecycle including: needs analysis, learning objectives, instructional design, course content development, identification of demo equipment needs, training execution plans and evaluations.
Ensure learning objectives and performance outcomes are appropriate for the audience and that the training materials and demo equipment are optimized for effectiveness and student engagement.
Coordinate and manage projects with 3rd party vendors
Expertise applying instructional design (ADDIE and SAM), adult learning principles and evaluation best practices
Experience using course development processes to efficiently develop effective courses
Demonstrated track record and passion for knowledge transfer
Knowledge of mobile learning best practices
Proven ability to apply structured problem solving
Enjoys working in a fast-paced changing environment; ability to be flexible and resilient
Excellent time management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize effectively
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; advanced PowerPoint user (visuals, graphics), Advanced Excel and some type of project management software tool
NOTE: Must be able to discuss examples of work, either eLearning courses, videos or both
2-3 years related experience in training development in the topic areas below:
Experience developing technical training targeted for customers, sales and service technicians; and covering technical or industrial products
Experience using Articulate Storlyline, Articulate Rise and Articulate Review
Experience creating and editing videos
Experience working with and managing Learning Management Systems
Bachelor’s degree required; Instructional Design, Educational Technology or related technical field preferred
ATD eLearning Instructional Design Certification, or equivalent, preferred
