Description
Analyzes contracts to determine government contract type and related billing structure/revenue recognition. Inputs contract information and prepares monthly billing. Tracks and reports contract funds, contract actions, obligations, expenditures, deobligations and close-outs. Enter s and/or reviews Wide Area Workflow entries for accuracy. Reconciles accounts receivable aging. Works with Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) in researching and correcting invoice issues as needed.

Exercises knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) regulations, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) accounting, and Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) to ensure compliance and efficiency with reporting and billing activities.

Required
  • BS or BA in a business related field
  • Minimum 3 years related experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Some travel
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

Desired
  • Experience with Deltek software and Cognos reporting
  • Familiarity with Wide-Area Work Flow (WAWF)
  • Familiarity with DCAA reporting preparation and GSA schedule
  • Experience in researching and resolving invoicing issues
  • Experience working with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)
  • Familiarity with different contract types and billing structures under each
