Development Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to take the reins and help us organize a number of initiatives related to the real estate, project management, & facilities teams.

The Development Coordinator will play a vital role with various activities in support of our real estate team, as well as existing and new office projects. We need a self-driven, outspoken individual to take on responsibilities to enable the project management team to focus by supporting addressing & permitting investigation, ensuring preferred vendors are qualified & properly on-boarded, as well as to help lead our program utilization & improvements. This individual will have a lot of opportunity to get involved in special department projects & initiatives alongside the Project Administration Team.

To give you an idea of the team structure, you will work closely with the real estate, project management, and facilities team, reporting to the Project Support Manager.

Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:


  • Lead the address & verification process for the new and existing office construction projects.

  • Transfer utility accounts for all new & select existing construction projects.

  • Support the Development Team in maintaining a vendor network for Real Estate, Construction and Facilities projects.

  • Setup and manage a file sharing website for project files in support of new and existing construction projects.

  • Support bid processes including request for proposals as required.

  • Manage the Development Department's software programs and act as administrative support in troubleshooting issues or concerns.

  • Manage creation and implementation of survey for various stakeholders and projects.

  • Work on special projects as assigned.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate in applicable field or 1-3 years of applicable field related experience.

  • Works well in a team environment.

  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • High level of integrity, work ethic, professionalism, self-motivation and sound judgment.

  • Ability to work well under pressure on multiple projects, tasks and prioritize personal workload.


Desirable Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of construction and bidding related knowledge or experience helpful.

  • Adobe & Microsoft Visio experience beneficial.
