The Pharmacist Specialist is responsible for the development, implementation, and audit compliance with medication use policies and procedures related to the delivery of pharmacy services to the MultiCare Medical Group; for providing leadership and support to MMG in the area of pharmaceutical care and development of clinical programs; and for performing all duties of a staff pharmacist. This is a senior level staff position working under limited supervision. Work situations vary from staff duties to entry level administrative functions and requires precision, attention to detail, a service oriented individual, discretion, good judgement, decision making within the scope of the position responsibilities, and leadership.
Two years experience in hospital pharmacy practice, or completion of ASHP accredited hospital pharmacy residency.
Graduate of an accredited college or school of pharmacy. Licensed pharmacist in the state of Washington. Completion of an ASHP accredited hospital pharmacy residency.
