The MRI Supervisor is responsible for problem resolution regarding daily technical operations. Provides input for annual performance evaluations of subordinates. Maintains open communication with subordinates and acts as liaison to promote positive interaction with patients, family members, Medical Staff and other departments and hospital staff. Functions as a staff technologist as necessitated by daily workload. Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures utilizing the principles of Magnetic Resonance Imaging for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates the equipment used to produce and process images. Assists in the daily operations of the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Department. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and Medical Staff.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Training in an accredited program or school of Radiologic Technology

REQUIRED LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Current FL license as General Radiographer/ Registered with the ARRT(MR)

Current BLS REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 3 - 5 years MRI experience
