Are you an experienced Marketing Manager looking to be part of an innovative, dynamic and growing organization?  GSK’s Oncology team is looking for a Sr Manager Marketing Planning to provide oversight as well as tactical execution of marketing operations processes for all Oncology brands. You will partner closely with brand team members to ensure promotional materials are reviewed in a timely and efficient manner; production of materials is seamless; tools are delivered to the sales force on time and available for future use. This role will help to achieve brand objectives, meet key deadlines (e.g. new product or new indication launches, release of new materials etc.) and support business unit operations as needed.

  • Partner with multiple brand teams and key stakeholders to understand business objectives and strategic imperatives to successfully drive marketing planning processes

  • Lead planning of marketing operations support to ensure timely execution required to meet brand goals

  • Manage integration of marketing operations processes to ensure a seamless transition for the marketing and sales teams

  • Manage and prioritize submissions for PMRC review and approval

  • Continuously assess the efficiency of current processes and proactively identify, recommend, and implement process improvements

  • Plan and facilitate launch team meetings

  • Provide project management support of launch plans, actively monitor for progress against key milestones, and work with functional leads to regularly provide updates

  • Provide budget management support for Marketing across the US oncology business unit

  • Provide ad hoc operational support for the business unit such as development of templates for BU presentations, communications etc.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum 8 years industry experience

  • Demonstrated Marketing planning and execution capabilities

  • Vendor management experience

  • Attention to detail and ability to independently manage multiple priorities

  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel

  • Advanced PPT skills

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • MBA

  • Oncology experience, Oncology launch experience

  • Strong organizational skills in order to maintain a high level of productivity and priority-setting required to complete assignments on-time

  • Ability to create and maintain strong partnerships with multiple teams onsite and remotely

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Willingness to work collaboratively by incorporating diverse perspectives and appropriately managing relationships in order to strengthen decision-making

  • Proactively seeks out and recommends process improvements

  • Entrepreneurial, enjoys working in a fast-paced
