Job Description:

The Innovation Pipeline Lead will be responsible for innovation strategies, products and pipelines to support GSK’s leading US brands. This role will have critical accountability for delivering new product and claim introductions to drive incremental net revenue into the marketplace.

  • Identify and apply consumer insights to uncover new innovation opportunities and set innovation strategies

  • Create robust 1-3-year new product pipelines for assigned brands, across all channels (eComm, Club, LOOP)

  • Develop and validate new product concepts and claims

  • Build business cases and P&Ls to justify approval

  • Lead cross-functional teams (R&D, Insights, Sales Strategy, Brand and Finance etc.) in the development and delivery of the product to market. Teams

  • Act as “face” of innovation pipelines and projects (in governance meetings, customer engagements, etc

  • Work with peer leaders to build team capabilities, inspire fresh thinking and identify new approaches to accelerate team ways of working

  • Coach and develop Innovation Manager direct report(s)


Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Marketing, brand management, innovation or strategy experience in fast-moving consumer goods, over the counter or non-traditional health/wellness industry

  • 2+ years of dedicated/primary focus on innovation

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Master’s degree

  • 5-8 years experience in related fields, such as innovation, marketing or brand management

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Experience in leading a matrix organization

  • Ability to develop others

  • Strategic thinker

  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and influencing skills
