Mars Wrigley is looking for a Customer Order Efficiency Program Analyst in Hackettstown, NJ



Job Purpose:

The Efficiency Analyst is responsible for the successful execution and ongoing viability of the all logistics-based efficiency programs and bracket pricing programs. This includes coordinating the distribution and collection of trading partner agreements as needed and confirming program eligibility of each customer.  It also includes ensuring accuracy of information on both a period and quarterly basis, as well as identifying areas of efficiency improvements in the delivery of customer orders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide training to new account owners (CLM, CLA, CSCR) on the overall logistics program requirements, quarterly workbook processing, and payment request database

  • Perform detailed audits of all submitted payment requests to ensure process compliance and accurate payment amounts

  • Distribute trading partner agreements as needed and confirm program eligibility, practicing sound accountability and attention to detail while working with sales, customer finance, and E-commerce teams

  • Ensure that the program database is up to date with customer and agreement information

  • Be primary point of contact to address database and payment submission questions for Customer Care

  • Facilitate any broke/fixes to program database/reporting

  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies that may arise either through SAP customer hierarchy and/or accrual issues or miscalculations

  • Responsible for collecting and analyzing customer fines and fees penalties (MFS and Customer Reported), and developing action plans in conjunction with appropriate teams.

  • Report and Review Customer ordering efficiency patterns (order weight/layer/volume) and report period metrics and trending

  • Report and Review Customer Bracket Pricing adherence as part of our Single Order pricing structure


Context and Scope:

  • Create and distribute quarterly workbooks within first 2 weeks of quarter close

  • Support future state of logistics efficiency program to drive continuous improvement for our customers and logistics partners.

  • Work with the Logistics Development Manager and Information Delivery to implement any program changes or enhancements

  • Work with customer finance to forecast and track logistics program budget usage

  • Maintain Customer Fines and Fees Logistics penalties tracker and analyze trending. Engage with other associates/departments to reduce penalties

  • Provide truck/shipment optimization data to key stakeholders to drive corrective action



Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Business Operations Management, Systems Management, Finance or related discipline




  • 3+ years experience in one or more of the following business areas: Logistics, Customer Care, or Finance



Knowledge and Experience:

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent organizational and work management skills

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Good understanding of information systems and technology

  • Proficiency in SharePoint and MS Office (Excel, Word, and Powerpoint)

  • Work well in a self-managed team environment

  • Ability to learn custom or new systems/software (such as SAP R/3) with minimal supervision
