Key Responsibilities

· MRT's are responsible for repairing and maintaining all facility and production
· machinery and equipment
· Maintain our preventative and predictive maintenance programs
· Assist with training duties
· Assist in the procurement of maintenance repair parts, equipment and supplies
· Responsible for maintaining facilities and equipment documentation and drawings
· Additional responsibilities as required - this position is subject to change as the needs of the department change

· Work in a safe manner and encourage others to do so
· Report all unsafe acts and conditions immediately
· Use our Innovation process and the team concept to improve safety in the plant
· Be proactively involved with improving working conditions

· Offer ideas for improvement of all systems and help implement them
· Lead area in achieving plant Quality objectives/goals
· 100% on-time delivery to customer
· Target 0 PPM on parts for all our customers (Metalsa and customer standard: 25
· or less PPM)
· Understand customer needs and work towards meeting and exceeding them

· Maintain the appearance of a World Class Facility
· Actively support full implementation of the 5S's, using it to approach and keep all
· areas clean, neat and properly maintained

Continuous Improvement/Training
· Actively involved with the Metalsa Model Practices and MOS Principle

Physical Requirements
· While performing the duties of the position, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear
· Frequently required to use hands to handle of touch
· Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and
· arms
· Specific vision abilities required by the position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to visually focus


Academic & Technical Requirements

· A minimum of a high school diploma or GED
· 3 years of experience in Industrial or Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance
· Experience with new equipment installation, hydraulics, knowledge of industrial power distribution and familiarity with PLC controlled equipment
· Experience with Preventative Maintenance

· 2-year technical degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
