Job Description:

Do you love researching, crafting & completing required additions and changes to software products and analyzing technical specifications for both creation of new or improving existing applications for compatibility with other systems? Are you ready to participate in our planning sessions and technical discussions? And are you able to assist in translating ideas into technical designs? This may be the role for you. You will be interacting with external and internal clients to gather data gathering, assist with design, and ensure the development of their solutions meet or exceed our client expectations. We are looking for a highly collaborative team member to work with our other skilled software professionals that are ready to deliver software that ultimately help our clients improve the way they do business.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensures consistency to established standards and may consult with senior leaders on technology solutions. Supports existing applications and may be responsible for leading technical aspects of a project. Assigning resources and delegating tasks to meet project work.

Scope of Job

Works on highly complex projects and issues within functional technical area. Mentors and leads less experienced IT staff. Provides leadership on projects.

  • 6+ yrs. of related IT experience. Bachelor’s Degree at College of Engineering and Technology or equivalent work experience.

  • Ability to lead the coding, testing, analyzing, documenting and sizing of Java/J2EE backend applications.

  • End to end knowledge of the software development project lifecycle

  • Good understanding of how technology relates to business, market and industry and applies such knowledge to support the needs of the business.

  • Experience collaborating with other web engineers, architects, designers and project leads.

  • Must be either a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
