As a Cloud Solutions Director, you will be responsible for setting the cloud strategy and go-to-market plans for current and emerging cloud solutions. You will transform the way we engage with our customers by creating and integrating solution offerings from our OEM partners into ePlus' Lifecycle Management process. You will collaborate with our national delivery teams to refine, simplify and differentiate our advanced solutions while building go-to-market plans for the introduction of new, emerging technology solutions. This position will offer you the opportunity to work with cross-functional supporting groups, and sales regions, to develop packaged solutions that deliver profitability and sustainable growth for these services and technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

The Solutions Director serves in a national position while working closely with internal support functions, regional sales teams and key OEM partners. The Solutions Director, must serve as an evangelist, thought leader, manager, and enabler for all identified solutions initiatives, both internal and external, and must be able to create value through both direct and indirect team-building initiatives.

* Sales and Engineering Enablement

* Deliver training on solutions to field sales and engineering resources

* Prepare solutions for sales and delivery

* Create sales tools and materials such as use cases and proposal template

* Develop "Why ePlus Presentations" for customers and vendors, FAQ, Objection handling

* Support the field by creating assessment offerings relevant to solutions

* Solutions Development

* Identify and cultivate solutions that enhance ePlus services and solutions offerings

* Work with regions and business development teams to drive sales

* Develop ideas to improve services and solutions penetration rate

* Develop plans to facilitate access to field training across the company

* Collaborate with marketing to identify market segments, positioning and competitors

* Collaborate to create value proposition and go-to market strategy

* Assess market requirements and market demand

* Define compelling service and business impacting solutions offerings

* Business development

* Identify strategic and tactical manufacturer partnerships

* Identify lead technical architect group and other key players necessary

* Achieve and sustain thought leadership

* Identify, evaluate, and execute on opportunities to optimize or expand a line of business

* Proactively work with business team leaders to achieve sales targets

* Work with Finance team to make sure all business objectives are met and understood

* Develop incentive programs for the field to drive adoption of new offerings

* Marketing

* Evaluate emerging market trends and directions in order to accelerate solution adoption

* Build credibility by establishing ePlus as an authority on identified services and solutions

* Expand industry awareness through multiple forms of media

Requirements

Job Knowledge/Skills:

Business and Management

* Previous success managing a profit and loss for a line of business

* Previous success developing partnerships between different, independent entities

* Previous success in sales and relationship-building roles

* Previous success in managing and delivering IT projects, on time and on budget

* Strong organization skills, presentation skills and acute attention-to-detail

* Strong oral and written communication skills

* Excellent interpersonal relationship skills

* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, challenging work environment

* Ability to adapt and learn new technologies, products, and processes in a short timeframe

* Ability to exercise good judgment in determining appropriate course of action

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred

* 10 years of progressively successful career progression within an IT related industry

* MInimum 3 years working with Cloud Solutions on leading platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google or Oracle Cloud. MUST have good understanding of Cloud Networking, Cloud Computing, Hybrid Cloud Solutions, Automation, and Cloud Security

* Minimum 5 years Director level or above leadership responsibility

* Minimum 5 years of experience with practice / business development leadership
