Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for some great Hardware Engineers who have a very good understanding of Intel CPU Architecture. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):


  • Work with System and Hardware Design Engineers to resolve issues and provide product quality improvement solutions.

  • Reading Intel documentation and errata’s with strong understanding of the chipset, memory, and BIOS functions.

  • Have strong knowledge of VRM controllers and Power MOSFETs.

  • Constant and effective communication with all necessary parties

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related is preferred, and Master's degree is strongly desirable

  • Very good understanding in Intel CPU architecture and designing.

  • Great knowledge of VRM controllers and MOSFET, PCI Express GEN 4, DDR4 memory layout and most of all - PCB layout and stack up.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in motherboard/system debugging environment preferred

  • Simulations experience would be very helpful, ex: Signal Integrity, others.

  • Strong team player, ability to work effectively in team to resolve any issues before production
