Category Coatings Inspection
Description
UESI is seeking qualified Nuclear Certified Coatings Inspectors (Level I, II, and III) for future opportunities in the 2020 Spring outage season. Experienced, previously qualified and certified Nuclear Coating Inspectors are preferred. However, NACE certification may be acceptable for some positions. Candidates will be trained and qualified under our 10CFR50, Appendix B QA Program in early 2020 (Inspector certifications based upon ANSI N45.2.6, ASME NQA-1, and ASTM D4537). The project work includes significant overtime and is expected to last about 40 days.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Prior Nuclear Inspector experience and certification preferred and/or NACE Level 1,2, or 3
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Excellent work ethic with attention to detail
  • Must pass a drug screening

Position Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
  • Ability to read and understand plans and direction given in the English language
  • Ability to write in English
  • Basic computer skills
    • Ability to create and or edit Microsoft Word documents
    • Ability to create and or edit Microsoft Excel documents
    • Ability to create and or edit Microsoft Exchange emails with attachments
  • Possess the ability to stand on your feet for approximately 3 hours minimum a day up to 8 hours a day
  • Be able to wear and work using GPI standard PPE, i.e. hard hats, safety vest, work boots, safety glasses/goggles
  • Be able to lift and or carry a weight of 30-50 lbs. (concrete inspection specimens and required equipment)
