Implement material purchasing, material planning, production planning within Honeywell SPS to ensure correct supply levels for operation. You are responsible to resolve material related fulfillment issues due to supply based problems, inventory errors, or demand changes. You are the liaison of cross functions and internal stakeholders, such as planning, sourcing, logistics, finance, operations, and quality. Key Responsibilities
Drive customer delivery performance to supply both external and internal customers
Own planning and purchasing from both global 3 rd party suppliers and internal Honeywell facilities
Manage stock attainment to ensure Make-to-Stock fulfillment readiness
Ensure timely material ordering and management of schedule changes
Develop and manage constrained supply recovery plans; including both current and proactive projections of stock unavailability. Proactively communicate and escalate with customer service and sourcing.
Manage resolution of supply related issues; including Engineering changes, compliance/certification changes, invoicing/accounts payable, logistics, and receipting.
Optimize inventory across multiple stocking locations; balancing working capital investment with fulfillment service levels.
Manage plan for every part (PFEP). Ensure corresponding ERP data accuracy of item master parameters / settings.
Forecast inventory levels and drive projects to meet working capital commitments.
Manage transportation methods to balance delivery performance with logistics expense.
Provide data and analysis to both solve material related problems and drive continuous process improvement.
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
2-4 years of experience in MRP/ERP Systems
Experience with 3 rd party materials purchasing and planning
Experience in manufacturing planning
Strong sense of accountability
Experienced structured problem solving. Knowledge of Six Sigma, Green Belt preferred
Proficient in Excel, knowledge of pivot tables
Ability to work independently and take direction from others
Established skills and experience in Materials management
