Key Account Manager

Summary:

As an Electrical Key Account Manager for Sonepar USA s Key Accounts Division, you will manage and grow an existing customer base as well as target and sell potential new customers within the electrical market. This role requires advanced selling skills including strategic planning, upper management selling, high level negotiating, and internal selling and leadership.

This is a remote position and can be located in any city with a major airport - Atlanta, GA or Charleston, SC are our preferred candidate locations.

What you ll do:

* Develop and implement strategies to grow sales with existing customers; this is the primary responsibility for the role

* Negotiate and attain profitable agreements that meet Sonepar USA guidelines

* Secure new customers that meet overall company strategies and requirements

* Effectively collaborate with Sonepar Operating Companies, and lead successful implementation of Sonepar Key Account commitments

* Develop, meet and exceed, forecasts, commitments, and customer expectations

* Meet and exceed the expectations of Sonepar Key Account leadership

* Successfully communicate the Strategic Customer Plans/Objectives with Operating Companies (OpCo s)

* Coordinate resources for the benefit of the customer

* Analyze and control sales expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements

* Deliver effective sales presentations to key prospects

* Monitor and evaluate the activities of the competition

* Create and maintain a culture of employee participation thorough team building, group problem-solving, positive interpersonal management

* Promote constant improvement

What you need:

* Must be able to travel up to 75% throughout the US

* Three to Five years of selling and/or Consultative sales experience

* Ability to develop and implement strategies to grow sales with existing customers

* Secure new customers that meet overall company strategies and requirements
