Repairs, maintains and installs machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous operations.
Performs maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.
Assists in ongoing preventive maintenance program in conjunction with other engineering and maintenance staff.
Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.
Identifies low levels in department inventory; maintains inventory including proper storage and knowledge of use.
Assists in compliance with Hazard Communication Program, including Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), labeling, storing and handling of materials, etc.
Assists with the identification of safety procedures, equipment and protective clothing requirements.
Responds to work orders as directed by management.
Assists in the application of key control policies and procedures.

High School Diploma.
1-3 years experience with high-rise commercial office buildings, HVAC, electrical, BAS, direct digital controls (DDC), plumbing, and general maintenance, required.
Lead building experience, preferred.
Ability to handle basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general maintenance tasks.
Basic knowledge of computer.
Must have valid driver’s license.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, contractors, clients and other team members.
Basic knowledge of machinery, electrical, plumbing, and painting disciplines.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and drawings and follow detailed written instructions and procedures outlined in the technical manuals.
Proficient in the English language.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Ability to work unsupervised, prioritize tasks and effectively plan each work day to most efficiently accomplish tasks.
Inspect and maintain buildings in show ready condition for leasing.
