Job Description:

Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) in Randolph, Vermont is looking for a Junior Test Engineer to join our team! As a Junior Test Engineer, you will be working with our team of manufacturing personnel in developing and fabricating state of the art products. In this position, you will perform technical tasks including qualification testing and reporting, verifying workmanship, project support and internal auditing. This position will also provide the opportunity to travel to customer locations as required.

  • Essential Functions

    • Range of equipment testing and reporting

    • Working within information with software databases

    • Testing products prior to shipment or placement into finished goods inventory

    • Performing ISO 9001 updates to our SOPs, work instructions, forms and internal audits

    • Information Technology (IT) support

  • Required Experience and Skills:

    • 5+ years working experience, computer, electrical and mechanical hands-on skills

    • Must have a valid driver’s license, willing to travel, good communications skills and can work within team.

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • Preferred:

    • Interest in robotics, sensors and heavy equipment

    • Working across all divisional teams, variety in daily tasks

    • Great attitude & a positive mindset

    • Mechanical and electrical knowledge

    • Hands-on skills
