Job Description:

Insider Inc. is looking for a UI/UX Design Intern to join our Tech & Engineering team for 8 weeks. Internship starts on January 13th, 2020 and continues through March 6th, 2020. 
During this paid internship, you will work with a talented team of Product Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, and Test Engineers in our Product and Technology organization to design features that enhance our sites and editorial tools. You will grow as a designer by solving problems, gathering user insights, and evolving our brand.

What you will be doing:

  • Participate in an onboarding process that will take you through all of the different aspects and teams that make up the Tech and Product Organization.

  • Work with a mentor on your team to support your learning and development as a UI/UX Designer.

  • Follow UX best practices and educate peers on them.

  • Grow your research skills by creating and running user and A/B tests.

  • Experience how design fits into an agile environment, as a contributing member of one Feature “Story” Teams.

  • Help your team achieve their sprint goals by designing solutions and following implementation.
