The Aruba High Touch Services team are thought-leaders in the design and deployment of high density, public facing networks around the world. They develop best practice guidelines and ensure the success of the most complex network deployments and their expertise spans Aruba’s  technology portfolio. We are looking for a High Density Solution Architect to join our team.

The High Density (HD) Solution Architect will support Aruba sales, system engineers and Large Public Venue (LPV) partners as we scope, design and turn-up high density Wi-Fi networks across the globe. An ideal candidate will be a mission-oriented creative-thinking individual that will leverage LPV domain expertise, business acumen, and our collective experience to influence the technology decisions of customers, partners and industry standards groups.

As part of this highly focused team you will be a pivotal contact point for multiple internal and external organizations and you will lead the product positioning, HD Consulting services scoping and the successful launch of very complex, high visibility, public facing wired and wireless networks.


Scope, quote and assist in the delivery of High Density Consulting services for Large Public Venues (arenas, stadiums, theme parks, airports, etc.).

  • Provide day to day guidance and mentoring to less-experienced sales teams and partners - set an example of user experience design innovation and excellence.

  • Review and evaluate wired and wireless network designs and project plans for compliance with best practice guidelines and standards.

  • Lead sales teams to strong LPV Partner relationships and lead virtual teams during complex Request for Proposal responses and negotiations.

  • Identify and evaluate new technologies, innovations, and partner relationships for alignment with go-to-market strategy, technology roadmap, and business value.

  • Support the office of the Chief Technology Officer in research projects to further develop Aruba’s best practice recommendations across the portfolio.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.

  • Typically 10+ years’ experience with complex radio frequency engineering.

  • Construction experience a plus.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Extensive experience designing and supporting complex network infrastructures.

  • History of innovation with examples of design excellence, analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Experience with product and technology integration across multiple product lines.

  • Excellent written skills - design proposals and scope-of-work documents.

  • Verbal communication skills - communicate complex technologies in simple terms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Technical certifications, a focus on Aruba certifications a plus.

  • Master’s degree preferred.

Location (Remote / Home-Based) preference

  • We will consider candidates who are Remote / Home-Based and close to a major airport.
