LinQuest Corporation is searching for a CCAFS Engineering Manager to join our team at Eglin AFB.
To work on the systems engineering and integration (SE&I) contract in support of the US Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC), Launch Enterprise Systems Directorate (SMC/LE). This effort includes overarching integration of launch and range programs which will require interfacing with both the EELV and any future SMC/LE launch systems.
SMC/LE is the guardian of assured access: launching when and where the nation needs it. SMC/LE's vision statement is to be the most respected and innovative space lift team, delivering mission success while enabling a robust U.S. launch industry This capability provides assured access to space for the nation. SMC/LE's mission also includes mission assurance and launch safety.
The position is full time on-site at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS). You will work onsite, co-located and closely integrated with the Government Customer.
Support launch facility engineering to include risk assessment, monitoring and reporting on status of projects, operations and maintenance of CCAFS launch processing facilities and their associated systems IAW AFSPCI 21-202.
Deliver quarterly status reports on launch facilities, hardware and support equipment IAW AFSPCI 21-202/5.2.13
Develop/produce/deliver a monthly launch infrastructure/system life-cycle logistics status report, launch facility risk-assessment matrix quad charts, as well as VAR and Director of Operations (DO) integration briefing charts IAW AFSPCI 21-202
Provide capability assessments and concepts of operations for launch facilities to include: conducting monthly facility requirements analysis, identifying facility requirement shortfalls and perform weekly engineering and facilities analyses, planning, design review, and studies IAW 15 AFSPCI 21-202
Generate launch facility/system concept of operations (CONOPS) report weekly, comment and review on system schematics weekly, and generate facility Smart Book on a quarterly basis.
Develop and update launch facilities status charts and reports for the weekly Pre-VAR and VAR prior to the scheduled meeting
Conduct launch facilities project management surveillance, testing, quality control inspections and associated documentation for processing facilities
Update facility floor plan configurations, create and manage facility checklists, create storyboards for facilities projects and update/provide reports in facilities Smart Book and VAR/DO integration meetings
