The Business Development Officer is responsible for delivering superior financial and sales results while leading Seacoast Bank's market presence in the local community. This individual is responsible for outbound business calling in the Community Bank arena. Responsible to lead the activities of branch profitability with particular emphasis on loan and core deposit growth while maintaining expense control.
College degree in a financial related discipline or 1-5+ years in bank managerial experience and/or Retail Business/Department Manager with previous sales experience.
Working Business Acumen and Financial Literacy in Retail Banking.
Proficient in all lending products and maintains an active NMLS registration status.
Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Resolves more difficult customer objections, and solves problems in a positive manner to retain the customer relationship.
Seeks Senior/Executive management guidance on complex financial matters and responds to management direction.
Adheres to Seacoast National Bank’s Code of Conduct.
Able to effectively discuss, process and close all types of lending products.
Works with team to effectively manage the branch “book of business” for expanding existing relationships.
