Job Responsibilities
The Reliability Engineering Intern will work on:
Reliability predictions (both standards-based and physics of failure methods)
Analysis of field and reliability test data
Diagnosing root cause of product reliability issues and their corrective actionsYou will work with a team of reliability engineers, as well as cross functional teams involving manufacturing, quality assurance, design and logistic engineering. The reliability engineering intern will also work on projects involving process standardization and process improvements, which push the reliability engineering efforts to earlier in the product's development cycle.
Currently pursuing Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline
Some experience in Quality Engineering in support of electronic assemblies including SMT CCAs, Box Build and Test.
Working knowledge of PLM Tool (Agile) as well as ERP system (i.e. Oracle).
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, & Power Point.
Strong math, statistics and data analysis skills
Able to commit to a 10-12 week internshipPreferences
Strong General knowledge of product assembly, test and associated Quality Metrics
Ability to provide testing and validation of Test Data and Analysis tools
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, & Power Point.
