Key Role Activities:

  1. Relate well with customers facilitating a positive loan experience for the potential member and our business partner

  2. Effectively communicate features, benefits and potential risks of loan programs to applicants

  3. Understand applicant asset, budget, and credit profile and Credit Human underwriting practices and propose viable alternative solutions which may qualify applicants whose applications are not approved as originally submitted

  4. Independently manage a pipeline of loans ensuring production and relational goals are achieved

  5. Minimize the application to funding cycle time

  6. Ensure loans produced meet internal quality standards and comply with lending regulation



  • 3-years’ experience in sales, financial services and/or indirect lending.

  • Previous experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator.

  • Previous experience in manufactured housing business. 

  • Previous experience as a mortgage loan processor or closer.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Must be able to work cross-functionally in a collaborative and team building relationship.

  • Strong, consultative sales ability with proven skills.

  • Strong verbal/written communication skills.

  • Independently motivated.

  • Computer skills to include Excel, Outlook and Word.

  • Sound judgement and strong decision-making skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Customer service focused.

  • Ability to travel periodically.

  • Ability to compare/contrast product advantages against other mortgage products.


  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM software



  • High School Diploma or equivalent


  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

Licenses & Certifications:


  • Valid driver license and good driving record

  • Registered as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) with the National Mortgage Licensing System or eligibility to register upon employment

Schedule:  Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm 

Level of Work:  2B
