Job Description:

Cherokee Casino properties feature nine casinos and numerous retail establishments in northeast Oklahoma. Cherokee Casino locations are Roland, West Siloam Springs, Fort Gibson, Tahlequah, Claremore, Grove, Sallisaw, South Coffeyville and Ramona.

SUMMARY:

The Players Club Representative is primarily responsible for the communication and awareness of promotions and special events throughout Cherokee Casino. Provide a pleasant atmosphere and quality service to guests at the Casino.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Includes the following (Other duties may be assigned):


  • Enroll guest in rewards program. Replace cards, update accounts, redeem free-play coupons and food coupons while working the counter.
  • Collect comment cards, compile and distribute to management.
  • Prepare weekly reports to departments informing them of upcoming promotions.
  • Replace promotional literature around casino.
  • Receive and respond to emails from guests and vendors daily.
  • Assist with special promotions, drawings, hot seats, and tournaments.
  • Assist guests on gaming floor.
  • Greet guest as they enter and exit the Casino.
  • Explain promotions to guest and answer any questions they may have.
  • Ensure paperwork is done accurately and sent to compliance.
  • Make public announcements of special events and promotions.
  • Ensure cleanliness of work area.
  • Maintain stock of promotional items.
  • Answer phones professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent and previous customer service experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:


  • Strong decision making ability when involving guest service.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
  • Developing working relationships with others. Must be able to obtain a Cherokee Nation Gaming License.
  • Must be able to obtain a Cherokee Nation Gaming Licenses. Must have a valid driver's license.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The position requires minimal physical exertion during the performance of majority of the duties. Most work is performed will standing with occasional need to walk, sit, recline, lift, carry, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and handle. You must be able to lift and carry 10lbs. The duties of this position are primarily performed in a climate controlled office environment with frequent exposure to smoke and loud noise.
