UEG is currently looking for a Vice President supporting our Entertainment Sector, focused on three specific areas (1) Net new and organic business development, (2) Creative program and concept ideation and (3) lead client senior problem solving / optimization. Working closely with the EVP heading this sector, this individual will focus efforts on Film & TV/Streaming, but will have purview into esports/Gaming, music and the broader agency offerings as well. This employee will assist in growing this part of the business by delivering both a high level of client service to existing clients and identifying new opportunities to continue our growth and leadership in this industry.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Identifying new business opportunities both from inside and outside the UEG/Edelman network.
Collaborating with the broader UEG team on business development opportunities.
Scoping of opportunities.
Securing of innovative ideas from and with industry partners (e.g. studios, networks, production, platforms, etc.).
Development of innovative ideas appropriate for individual clients.
Senior level oversight (problem solving / solution orientation) of key clients within the agency structure, from a subject matter expert perspective, working collaboratively with members of the R&P and Account teams.
Working collaboratively with discipline leads in their respective areas (e.g. Film, TV/Streaming, etc.), as well as with the Business Development team.
Provide expert knowledge and insight to help evaluate the potential impact and results of such programs against objectives and assist in securing new accounts and growing existing ones.
Provide strategic counsel, guidance and leadership to staff, supervising one or more staff members, and ensuring the team's success by managing work quality and productivity levels
Maintain relationships with senior-level client contacts, colleagues and external partners
Consistently hold self and staff accountable for behavior and performance
Seek and suggest process improvements and support positive change initiatives
Participate in the development and adoption of new products/services; leverage IP with clients
Commit to continuous learning and improvement of leadership skills; set and pursue stretch goals

Should have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience within a studio, network, or broadcast outlet, and/or at an agency with directly relevant experience and knowledge in this space.
Must have the ability and passion to sell and be a creative marketer and problem solver.
Highest level of client services experience with the ability to act quickly and thoughtfully.
Must have excellent written and verbally communications skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of an organization, crisply and succinctly.
