We are seeking a smart and professional Senior Financial Analyst in Los Angeles with solid financial, analytical, and planning skills. Reporting to a Senior Finance Manager, this person will manage billing processes, financial analysis, reporting, and revenue recognition for various clients throughout the west region. 

Responsibilities of Senior Financial Analyst:  

  • Partner with senior account teams in pricing client proposals and budget development 

  • Administer billing process, including fee reconciliation and client invoicing 

  • Train account staff on internal finance systems, procedures and financial project management 

  • Ensure timely submission of invoices and supporting documentation to client  

  • Calculate and track monthly revenues based on active contracts and client billings 

  • Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts and corresponding scope of work 

  • Review and approve client budgets and upload properly into financial system 

  •  Support client reporting, audit requests, and data collection 

  • Review expense write-offs and unbilled WIP. 

  • Communicate with account staff on billing and accounts receivable issues 

  • Follow up on outstanding receivables and work with staff to secure payment. 

  • Assist in collecting commentary on uncollected and past due invoices 

  • Ensure department compliance with company financial policies (e.g., revenue recognition, job requisitions, time entry, travel and expense, credit, billing, accounts payable, new business)


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field in quantitative analysis  

  • 3+ years of Finance/Accounting experience, preferably in an agency setting 

  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s, SUMIFS, Etc.) 

  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills  

  • A self-motivated desire to exceed expectations and grow 

  • Client service oriented and fosters positive working relationships 

  • Independent worker with the ability to liaise across regional divisions 

  • Proven ability to prioritize workload, and demonstrate proactive efficient problem solving. 

  • Well organized with strong time management skills and attention to detail, follows through on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment 

  • Able to articulate financial concepts in layman’s terms
