IDC's Worldwide Enterprise Infrastructure Tracker group is looking for an individual with superior analytical, communication and data management skills to be part of our team tracking the global enterprise hardware marketplace (datacenter infrastructure and related technologies, e.g. cloud and workloads), and managing the ongoing coordination between a wide range of regional analyst teams across the globe.

Operations related to IDC's quarterly Trackers research – including set up of internal tools, coordinating research deadlines, developing and enforcing data quality checks, product delivery, and business development product updates.
Continuous testing, evaluation and improvement of internal tools for IDC's global Tracker products
Project management and coordination of semiannual end-user survey research
Provide timely and accurate support for client inquiries
Support IDC sales executives to seek business development opportunities
Undergraduate degree – preferably in Mathematics, Statistics or Economics
4+ years of market research, survey development or data analyst experience in the IT industry
Advanced use of Microsoft Excel (Access or SQL is a plus)
Experience in quality control, data analysis, data mining, and project management
A well-rounded understanding of the datacenter infrastructure technologies, market dynamics, market players, and market trends
Aptitude to work under pressure and coordinate the important work of team members across the globe to meet intense deliverable schedule.
Ability to work independently with guidance and in a virtual team environment
1-2 plus years of experience in Project Management managing multiple projects with minimal supervision; managing all phases of the project life cycle, including running project status meetings
Ability to collaborate with a technical and service-oriented team of professionals, and promote cooperation from a wide variety of stakeholders, including team members and other internal departments
Some travel may be required
