The OHSU Center for Hematologic Malignancies Bone Marrow Transplant Registry Team directly supports the OHSU Bone Marrow Transplant clinical program by meeting data reporting obligations to the Center for International Blood and Marrow Research (CIBMTR) and to the Northwest Marrow Transplant Program (NWMTP). OHSU's Center for Hematologic Malignancies is a part of OHSU's Knight Cancer Institute.
Function/Duties of Position
The responsibilities of this position include: 1) administrative support to the Registry Team; 2) performing activities related to record collection (multiple medical record departments in external hospitals and community oncology practices); 3) document organization, tracking, and management; 4) digitization of hard copy documents into OnBase; 5) assists in tracking and management of consent documents for patients being consented to research protocols; 6) assistance with submission of documents to the IRB; 7) assists in responding to data queries; responsible for office supply ordering and management.
Education : Bachelor's Degree (4 yr); or AA (2 yr) and 2 years of relevant experience; or no degree and 4 years of relevant experience

Job Related Knowledge and Skills :
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks at one time. Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills: both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team while being collaborative in resolving problems. Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Access, Word, and PowerPoint) on Window OS. Must have demonstrated excellent customer service skills both on the phone and in person. Must possess energy and drive to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to use tact and diplomacy to maintain effective working relationships
Able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
Education : Bachelor's Degree
Experience : At least 2 years work experience in an office or academic setting
Job Related Knowledge : Knowledge of medical terminology; working knowledge of Oracle
Working conditions :
Must be able to travel to all Knight worksite locations, including using the Tram.
Must be able to focus and work in a busy cubicle environment with constant interruptions, work on a computer for 3-4 hours at a time and lift 20lbs.
