Assembly Media, Inc., a subsidiary of Daniel J. Edelman Holdings, Inc. is seeking a savvy and nimble Project Supervisor to join the team in our Seattle office. As a senior representative of our Delivery group, the Supervisor will work with the Account team and Discipline Leads to provide structure and vision for work across our Microsoft book of business.

Overall, our Delivery group defines the scope and budget, key milestones, timelines, and deliverables for a diverse set of project types. We are responsible for ensuring that project deliverables connect with creative intent, meet time specifications and quality goals. The Delivery team may support campaigns like:

  • Integrated Campaign Planning – Working with Microsoft to build multi-channel marketing programs

  • Paid Media Campaigns – Magnifying Microsoft work through Paid Campaigns on social platforms

  • Analytics – Support Analytics Specialists as they develop automated reporting capabilities

  • Content Production – web content, branded content, print collateral

  • Digital – site builds, online advertising, application development, social content, blogs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Head of Delivery on organizational best practices and team management

  • Help build and manage a team of Delivery professionals for the Microsoft work

  • Play a significant role in driving integration across stakeholder groups

  • Coordinate account, planning, creative, production and technology teams to drive client initiatives ensuring on time delivery, oftentimes including change control

  • Play a significant role in managing new business pitches, both as a project manager and an operations subject matter expert

  • Partner with Resourcing to appropriately allocate staff or external resources for work-type and scope

  • Provide updated status reporting to senior management and business units

  • Provide scheduling, facilitation, and coordination of all project related meetings

  • Author and maintain project schedules, project briefs, cost estimates and project financial management (OOP & fee) and other relevant project documentation with input from team members

  • With oversight from the Head of Delivery, partner with Finance team to ensure projects stay on budget, fees are appropriate, and SOWs are approved

  • Work with Production Business Affairs and the Producers to ensure all talent and business requirements are completed on broadcast, web content and other production engagements

  • Balance a sense of urgency with a calm and confident leadership at all times

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • This role requires at least six years of project management experience, with at least two of those as a people manager

  • The ability to multi-task, work with several functional roles, and overall maintain efficiency in a fast-paced and challenging environment

  • Should be able to articulate workflow, timing, and pricing strategies to a variety of stakeholder groups, including clients

  • Experience facilitating collaboration between organizational disciplines

  • Operational knowledge of strategy, design, and development/production deliverables

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to take initiative and exemplify a “get things done” mentality

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required

  • Experience with Project management software a plus, particularly Workamajig
