Manages a major component of a key product in Merchant Acquiring. Develops broad functional or cross-functional objectives and strategies for products managed. Leads a product management team in implementing plans to obtain defined business objectives and complete projects. Provides leadership, coordination and expertise in the management/development of products managed. Generally has more management experience and product knowledge than Product Management Exec I and/or may be responsible for more strategic or complex product lines. Responsibilities include conducting market research and competitor analyses, determining product pricing, developing short and long-term strategies/outlooks for assigned product(s), and designing and tailoring products to meet customers' needs. Competencies required include demonstrated strategic planning/product management skills, strong analytical skills with breadth of view, negotiation skills, people and project management skills and abilities, and an average of 10 to 15 years related experience.

Skills and Experience required
  • 7-10 years direct team management background in a sales and/or service environment
  • 10 years of Core Acquiring (Credit/Debit) industry experience
  • Expert knowledge of payment interfaces, regulation updates, card updates
  • 5+ years in card product development and product management
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills, including written, oral and presentation skills.
  • Effective planning, prioritization and time management acumen.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills - including P&L management and business case development
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS office (Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint)
  • in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, OneNote

Desired Experience
  • Knowledge and experience in payments, merchant services, or related industry sales and consultation.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
