SCHEDULE: PRN/Per Diem
The RN Case Manager provides hospital case management/utilization review and discharge planning to assure that the patient progresses through the continuum of care, and is discharged to the least restrictive environment.
Doctors Hospital of Sarasota is an all private room, beautifully designed 155-bed, acute care facility serving the healthcare needs of Sarasota and Manatee County residents. The hospital is located just off of I-75, in a high growth area, featuring new construction and golf course communities, close to the many arts and cultural activities that Sarasota is famous for. The hospital also supports the Lakewood Ranch FSER.
Doctors Hospital has earned 10 Consecutive 'A' Safety Grades from the Leapfrog Group, is an Advanced Primary Stroke Center and has earned several prestigious distinctions for its surgical programs, including Five-Star Recipient for Carotid Procedures, Gallbladder Removal, Hip Fracture, Abdominal Aorta Repair, and Spinal Fusion from Healthgrades.
The hospital offers the latest in minimally invasive and robotic surgery systems. Other programs include cardiovascular and Sereniy Place & Transitions behavioral health services for adults. Joint Commission disease specific certifications earned include Advanced COPD, Sepsis and Stroke.

Current State of Florida RN licensure
Completion of an RN Diploma program or related healthcare program
National Case Management Certification strongly desire
Minimum of three (3) years recent experience in an acute-care hospital setting required
Case Management experience is preferred
