Job Description:
Responsibilities

Design of technology solutions. Ensure that solutions meet business needs and align with architectural standards. The solutions architect is a technical leader with a deep understanding of business goals, business processes and solutions architecture

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Leads evaluation, design and analysis of mission critical solutions used enterprise-wide.
2. Translates business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives
3. Proposes architecture solutions based on business and technology considerations, and suitable alternatives to satisfy customer needs
4. Acts as a bridge between technical and business audiences during solution development
5. Analyzes the current architecture to identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvement
6. Collaborates with enterprise architecture, information security and applications and infrastructure teams to produce optimal designs
7. Ensures compliance of solutions to architectural principles, policies, standards and guidelines
8. Acts as a subject matter expert on technologies and trends in solution architecture styles and patterns
9. Acts as a consultant on a broad range of technologies, platforms and vendors
10. Produces and maintains technical documents of systems and architectures
11. Consult or oversee multiple highly complex projects/programs/domains that have significant business impacts and require in-depth technical knowledge across multiple specific architecture disciplines such as technology, solution, business or information/data

1. Ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
2. Good understanding of both agile principles and waterfall development methodologies
3. Ability to work creatively and analytically
4. Ability to work effectively in a team and lead cross-functional teams
5. Experience delivering presentations to senior level executives and technical audiences
6. Ability to self motivate, take initiative and leadership skills to seek out work and accomplish goals.

9. Ability to think and act strategically to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
10. Extensive experience in client relationship management through knowledge and ability to determine and satisfy client needs and maintain a partnering relationship during engagements.
11. Strong leadership, communication & interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field required. .
2. Ten (10) years of experience in multiple IT areas with five (5) years of relevant architecture experience required.
3. Advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, application design, systems engineering and integration required.
4. Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments required.
5. Thorough understanding of .Net and/or Java ecosystems.
6. Demonstrable experience leading teams to deliver solutions using modern architecture principles and development practices.
