As an Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to work with these dedicated professionals in critical areas like Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, FP&A, Credit Risk Management, General Accounting and more. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Engage and communicate effectively with other professionals throughout the organization

  • Work on assigned projects while meeting deadlines set forth by manager

  • Contribute to the overall business process

  • Gain a strong understanding of the industry

  • Perform administrative tasks and duties as assigned

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • To be enrolled as a rising college junior or senior, or graduate student

  • Experience with Microsoft Office

  • Proven analytical skills with demonstrated experience paying strong attention to the details and accuracy of your work

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Previous experience in billing/invoicing

  • Availability to travel occasionally

  • Experience working collaboratively in a team environment

  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills and outstanding interpersonal skills

  • Solid capacity to organize, multitask and prioritize workload
