Cox Automotive is currently looking for an Operations Insights Analyst II to join our team in Burlington, VT.
Job Summary:

The Operations Insights Analyst II is an experienced member of the Operations Analytics team, providing custom reporting to internal business units. This position will leverage working knowledge of data acquisition, data analysis and data visualization skills to provide clear reporting and analysis that focus on improving internal operations. This position will report to the Sr. Manager Insights & Analytics and will provide support to the Senior Operations Analyst staff.

The Operations Insights Analyst II is expected to be comfortable working with data and building comprehensive dashboards that communicate business performance towards identified targets. A successful candidate will have experience developing custom reports with tailored insights and visualizations backed by a deep understanding of the operational data and it s context. The Operations Insights Analyst II will need to build and leverage knowledge of various source systems and collaborate with other teams and departments. They will work stakeholders to ensure proper context is provided as to avoid misinterpretation of the reporting.

Your Role:Provide comprehensive data analysis and reporting to support the efficient operations of a variety of business units

Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and refine reporting dashboards for internal business units and teams dependent on that BU s data

Provide insights using data visualization and story-telling techniques to clearly address the needs and questions of stakeholders

Ability to think creatively to incorporate new types of data into custom insights that provide direction guidance towards business questions

Create and maintain documentation supporting the data context, reporting and information sharing tools

Oversee and monitor data portfolio to ensure that analysis efforts are not duplicated

Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:3 or more years of analysis and data visualization experience, operational analytics

Experience using Microsoft Excel, Alteryx, Tableau, Business Objects and/or other dashboard development tools in order to create actionable insights and reporting

Experience working with large sets of data and pulling directly from various data sources

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Must be self-motivated and passionate about data

Approaches work with a continuous improvement mindset, providing suggestions and/or taking action to implement new solutions within the Operations Analytics team

Bachelor s degree with a concentration in Business Analytics, Business Administration or Data Science preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
