Enterprise Program/Project Support Manager
About this role:
The Enterprise Program & Project Support Manager (ePMO) provides project management (PM) and process management expertise to support large and complex initiatives within the UPS global organization. He/she enables the Enterprise Program Management Office (ePMO) department’s mission of ensuring enterprise portfolio / program visibility, governance and effective execution of initiatives, resulting in better decision-making and predictability to drive desired business outcomes. The ePMO Manager provides services and best practices to enable and scale the portfolio, program, governance and process management disciplines across UPS.
The ePMO manager position has two areas of focus: business process improvement and program management support. The organizational transformation efforts require support more strategic in nature to enable process redesign. The ePMO Manager ensures UPS large and complex programs and projects follow the project management discipline (i.e., initiation, planning, executing, controlling & monitoring, and closing) and internal project management standards, ultimately leading to desired results (i.e., revenue generation, cost savings, cost avoidance, and benefits to the organization).
