POSITION SUMMARY: The Field Service Supervisor will be responsible for the department's operational efficiency, profitability, and overall safety by utilizing all resources made available. The Field Service Supervisor will provide our customers with exceptional customer service by collaborating with them to ensure trust and productivity.

  1. Oversee and direct all activities necessary to maintain a profitable and well-regarded Field Service operation.
  2. Interface with customers.
  3. Provide input to Manager and assist with quarterly skill assessments.
  4. Schedule Field Service Technicians, while being the liaison between technicians and customers.
  5. Maintain timely and professional communication with Customers.
  6. Provide input to Manager and assist with 1-on-1 meetings with technicians for mentoring purposes.
  7. Remain sensitive to the needs the Sales Department and Rental Division.
  8. Manage WIP for Field Service and Contracts.
  9. Maintain and promote BIG 3 culture topics to technicians.
  10. Open, manage, and close service jobs.
  11. Ensure appropriate training is given.
  12. Organize the ordering of parts.
  13. Provide and process purchase orders, invoices and collect service payments as needed.
  14. Perform quarterly vehicle inspections and oversee Fleet Maintenance.
  15. Verify, review, and approve Technician times in NOVA and DBS.
  16. Perform additional duties as needed.

  1. Must have two (2) years general office experience.
  2. Must have five (5) years heavy equipment experience
  3. PC skills required.
  4. Must have a valid California Class C Driver's License.
  5. Must have above average communication skills.
  6. Must have excellent customer service skills.

  8. Vision: Read work tickets and parts books.
  9. Talking: Communications by radio, phone, and in person.
  10. Sitting: Sits in equipment and in vehicles.

  1. Noise: Works in conditions with constant or intermittent noise.
  2. Temp/Weather: Works in a warehouse and outside with variations of temperature and weather.
  3. Exposure: Foul odors, fumes and harsh substances.
