Champlain Broadband: DBA Burlington Telecom has an immediate full-time opening for a Marketing Manager. The Marketing Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and execution of strategic marketing plans to increase brand identity and brand awareness. This individual will flourish in a nimble and fast paced organization in which you can apply your tactical and strategic skills. This multi-faceted marketer will be energized by maximizing our brand position in a rapidly growing organization. This person will report directly to the General Manager and will work closely with the VP of Marketing and other departments to drive synergy and execution in the field. This person will also lead engagements with key partners in the community to improve brand recognition.
Market Analytics/Data Analysis: Understands concept of segmentation, analyze, refine, and improve campaigns to ensure programs deliver strong ROI
Develops and executes retail/wholesale marketing programs including promotions, sampling, and events
Manage marketing strategies, product portfolio, marketing activations, and innovation (planning, development, execution and analysis) to drive revenue growth and brand awareness
Lead product introductions, promotions, communications, forecasting and inventory management of brand portfolio
Define/Differentiate the brand's positioning through robust understanding of target consumers (segmentation), trends, and competitive environment
Creates, implements, and manages consumer-centric marketing campaigns with focus on measuring results to better guide future efforts
Budgeting and forecast development/management
Familiar with social media platforms and execution of marketing campaigns
Keeping the website current to use as a customer notification platform
Develop and manage media planning and communications: brand strategies, objectives, target information, market priorities, planning, etc.
Some evening and weekend work requirements (<10%) to meet business needs
Preferred skills and experience:
Valid and Clean Driver's License
BS/MS degree in Marketing or related field
3-5 years of proven working experience in developing and measuring effective marketing strategies
Highly creative self-starter with the ability to think out of the box
Demonstrated strength in strategic thinking with a consumer lens
Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills
Proven website and social media management
Web site management and public relations knowledge
Digital marketing experience
Ability to pivot in strategy and be flexible with the ever-changing dynamics of the industry
