Position Overview:
The Business Analyst main responsibilities include analyzing requests for custom code development and preparing estimates, requirement documents, and specifications for customer approval.

Position Accountabilities:
Effectively interact with customers and stakeholders to gather, define, and interpret requirements
Effectively liaise with developers and other technical staff to determine the best approach
Prepare clear & concise requirements and specification documents
Efficiently identify assumptions and misunderstandings
Manage quotes queue and provide status updates to stakeholders
Tracking and reporting of hours

Minimum Requirements:
Ability to understand new technical information and concepts quickly
Ability to analyze and evaluate business processes, and provide effective solutions
Proficient in the use of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Familiarity with the transportation & logistics industry
Understanding of the software development life cycle
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team player

Physical Requirements:
Constant and close visual work at desk or computer
Constant sitting and working at desk
Frequent verbal and written communication with team and other business associates by telephone, correspondence, or in person
Frequent lifting of folders, files, binders and other objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
Frequent opening and closing of heavy file drawers
Occasional bending and stooping to pick up boxes and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Frequent walking and standing
Occasional driving of automobiles

Travel Required: 5-15%
