What You Will Do:
Be the key engagement point for the investment teams – specifically focused on quantitative modeling, structure finance and portfolio analysis.
Prioritize and represent programs of work on behalf of the business and assess quality of outcomes for the investment aligned technology delivery team comprised of scrum master, developers, testers, business analysts and DevOps engineer.
Work closely with the investment and technology front office developers who are responsible for the design of high-performance, scalable applications and platforms providing real-time data and analytics to the quant and investment teams to support credit, interest rate, foreign exchange, attribution risk modeling.
Align with senior business and technology leaders to influence strategy and drive change within technology platform design.
Encourage close working partnerships between the investment aligned technology teams and business counterparts. Success in this role will be measured by how tightly the business and technology teams openly interact with each other.
What you will need:
Fifteen plus years of prior hands-on experience overseeing development activities and supporting front office Fixed Income trading and analytic systems.
Five years working in a leadership capacity, directing the outcomes of staff in a matrix management Agile structure.
Excellent relationship management experience, able to carefully manage business expectations with pragmatic and realistic technology delivery.
Strong technical aptitude, with detailed knowledge of complex data structures and algorithmic modeling principles.
Experience with setting technology strategy in alignment with business priorities; able to guide and balance both technology and business delivery in line with industry best-of-breed solutions.
Demonstrated experience in iterative, continuous improvement delivery based in Agile and DevOps development principles.
BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
