1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm

What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Handle daily load activities by communicating with customers, carriers, shippers and receivers 

  • Accurately enter and maintain up-to-date information on an ongoing basis; work quickly to resolve problems that may arise on an order or load

  • Negotiate rates with customers and carriers to maximize margins and provide customers with competitive pricing daily

  • Develop a sustained customer base through generating leads, developing relationships and providing superior customer service

  • Ensure that all carrier documentation is completed and received prior to carrier utilization

  • Review and qualify customer credit limits before securing business

  • Support receivables effort on delinquent accounts as needed

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in customer service 

  • 2 years of experience in supply chain or logistics

  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office

It’d be great if you also have:


  • Experience in transportation

  • Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to multitask, stay organized and manage customer expectations

  • Solid negotiation and persuasion skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities; strong problem-solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
