UL is seeking a HRIS Lead to join our HR Team in US, Northbrook. Reporting to the HRIS and Analytics Senior Manager, the HRIS Lead will provide HR technology system support to our Internal HR, Finance teams and business population. The support will include system configurations and customizations/personalization, HR system implementations, cost center management, BI reporting and analysis, end user data maintenance, end user training and other technology related support. Will also collaborate with internal and external IT specialists to develop solutions in support of the identified business needs.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency to:
• Serve as a project lead on HR system/application support and implementations • Manage full life cycle of HR application/system design, testing phases, and ongoing maintenance/support • Evaluate business requirements, needs and objectives and transform same to processes, solution and modules being implemented • Leverage the system for its full functional capabilities and identify and implement improvements • Work with various stakeholders across different functions (e.g., HR, Finance) to implement and deliver the solution as and when needed • Serve as the primary point of contact for ticket and issue, escalate and collaborate with IT on issues that require IT intervention. • Create training documentation and lead regular training sessions to end users on how to utilize HRIS systems. • Serve as the technical point of contact for data integrity and analyzing data trends within relevant HR systems/applications.
• University Degree (Bachelor's degree) in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business, or related field with a minimum of five (5) years of work experience • Experience with Oracle EBS and OBIEE or BI (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) reporting required. Non - Oracle HR system experience strongly desired (e.g., Cloud-based HR applications). • Proven Project management or Project Leading experience on HR system implementations, improvements and ongoing support • Expertise required in MS Office with advanced knowledge of Excel/ V-Look-up and Pivot Tables. • Experience working with HR compliance and regulatory issues. • Strong quantitative and analytical skills • Demonstrated strong time management, problem-solving and consulting skills • Strong records maintenance and organizational skills required • Strong communication skills to work with various levels within the organization and across many cultures
